Who wrote the book

The book was written by Ross Wilson, a parent who wanted to create a toilet-training book that children would genuinely enjoy and ask for again and again. Having experienced toilet-training with his two kids, he saw there wasn't something in the market that his kids enjoyed reading about toilet training. So he set out to write a book to help. Having used it with his own children, he felt like it would help other parents going through the same process.

About the author

Ross is a parent first and foremost. After surviving the toilet-training trenches with his two children, he wanted a book that children would genuinely enjoy and ask for again and again - something silly, joyful and full of imagination.

Inspired by real-life chaos (and a lot of cleaning up), he created Dick Turdin – The Pooping Highwayman to help families laugh their way through one of childhood’s biggest milestones.

He lives in Madrid with his wife and two Certified Toilet-Trained by Tilly children.
